Loch Primary School is fortunate to have access to a school chaplain for one and a half days a week. Matt Stear, our school chaplain, is funded through Access Ministries and provides a range of support services at our school. He works one on one with students and in small groups. He delivers a number of programs designed to build confidence, resilience and self-belief with our students. Our students are always eager to participate in the ‘Bikes R Us’ programs where they are able to develop practical bike servicing and repair skills as well as build positive relationships together. Our chaplain is also available to support parents and teachers and is often called on to provide counselling and assistance when families experience a crisis or emergency.
